The Finish Line

Here's the summary of my 48-hour book challenge efforts:

I read 7 books, including all four (to date) in The Alchemyst series, and the first in "The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica," Here, There Be Dragons. I can't wait to read some more in that series! All the books I read were fantasy (not a big surprise). I'm particularly intrigued by the overlaps in the two latter series--I want to think more about that, maybe after I read the rest of the Imaginarium Geographica books.

I read a total of 2778 pages.

I put in 16.75 reading hours, and 3 hours of social networking, for a total of 19.75 hours.

Thanks, MotherReader, for putting this together again! It was a weekend well spent!

  1. I'll have to look into those series' {like I really need more on my to read}

    Sounds like you had a great weekend :)

  2. The Alchemyst books by Michael Scott! That's another book that I was meaning to get to, and then, somehow, I blinked my eye, and suddenly it's a whole series, which makes starting it all the more intimidating.

    Is your reading list on the right-hand side books that you have read? That you want to read? That you recommend?

  3. Just for the record, since I had read The Alchemyst before I didn't put it in the sidebar reading list, but I did re-read it for the 48HBC.

  4. Wow, that's some serious reading! Great job!

  5. You're welcome! Thanks for playing!

  6. Ooh, my head would spin if all I read was fantasy - how do you keep from the books all blurring into one ginormous story? That is impressive!

  7. What a great weekend to live in a world of fantasy! It sounds like you did great!
